Born in 1972 in Walthamstowe, Jo studied fine art at Falmouth School Of Art where she gained a wealth of experience working with many different types of media.

Johanne has been a professional artist for several years. Her work sells throughout galleries all over the United Kingdom.

She paints mainly in oils with her primary subjects being rendered in a still life situation, which she gives a modern feeling by painting in a very sensitive style.

All the objects found in Johannes paintings are things that she has collected and treasured in some way, shells, pebbles and driftwood found on a local beach or one of the many well loved bears from her large collection.

All of the paintings she now produces sell exclusively from Bank Street Gallery.
